Opening summer 2026 · Valencia, Spain
A recovery offering for people who don't stop.
La Siesta is a curated network of recovery spaces across Valencia — sound, breath, yin and community for high-performing nervous systems that forgot how to stop. The practice
Different tools. One outcome:
a regulated nervous system.
Every modality is chosen for its measurable effect on the autonomic nervous system. Recovery designed for people whose default setting is on.
Tap a practice to unpack it
How it works
You lie down. Gongs, bowls and tuning forks fill the room with long, low tones. Nothing to do, nothing to follow — the sound carries your attention for you.
What shifts
The looping to-do list goes quiet. Breathing slows on its own, shoulders drop, and most people leave feeling like they took a long nap in fifty minutes.
Choose this if
Choose this when your head won't switch off — too many tabs open, can't sleep, can't sit still. Best entry point if you've never tried anything like this before.
How it works
Breathwork is direct access to your nervous system. We guide you through patterns that shift you out of go-mode and into a calmer, more grounded state — no hyperventilating, no performance, just breath as a tool.
What shifts
Heart rate settles, the chest opens, and the pressure behind the eyes eases. You leave feeling calm, centred and more alive — with a practice you can use anywhere.
Choose this if
Choose this when stress lives in your body — tight chest, shallow breath, wired-but-tired. Also the most portable practice to take home.
How it works
A handful of floor-based postures, held for a few minutes each. No flow, no sweat, no effort. Props do the work so you can actually stop trying.
What shifts
The places you've been bracing — jaw, hips, shoulders, lower back — start to let go. Sleep tends to get deeper within the first week.
Choose this if
Choose this when your body feels stiff, held, or heavy from sitting, training or travel. Ideal on the evening before a hard day.
How it works
Capped, quiet rooms with other founders, operators and high performers. No networking, no small talk — just recovering in the same space as people carrying similar loads.
What shifts
You drop faster when you're not the only calm person in the room. The isolation that comes with the role starts to lift, without having to explain anything.
Choose this if
Choose this when you feel like you're carrying it alone, or when solo recovery has stopped landing. Pairs well with any of the other three.

Who it's for
Rest is not the reward.
Rest is the work.
High performers don't need help doing more. They need support in recovering — and taking that recovery as seriously as the role, the workout, or the next quarter. It's equally important.
Recovery is the practice
Founders and high performers rarely need help doing more. They need support in recovering — treating rest with the same seriousness as the role, the training block, the next quarter.
For the demanding professional
Founders, operators, senior leaders, competitive athletes. People whose bodies carry a load their calendars don't reflect.
Small rooms, real recovery
Capped sessions, discreet space, English-first facilitators. Certified experts and science-proven techniques.

Founder
Elena Kochler
La Siesta was built from a simple observation: the people who need recovery most are often the worst at allowing it. After years watching high-performers grind toward burnout, I set out to build an offering where rest is an activity you actively pursue — not confined to one studio, but spread across curated spaces and facilitators throughout the city.
Our approach combines sound, breath, yin and community into structured sessions designed to regulate the nervous system. Evidence-based recovery, delivered in calm, private spaces for people who take their performance seriously.
